Sharing Dharma Drum Mountain is both a chronicle and a celebration. As a chronicle, it depicts the history of the founding of Dharma Drum Mountain, a Buddhist community nestled in the mountains of Jinshan in Taiwain. Dharma Drum Mountain has an influence in the Buddhist world far beyond its naturally landscaped campus, its monastery, and modern structures. At Dharma Drum Mountain, one finds three aspects of the global vision of its founder, Master Sheng Yen: teaching the Buddha's Dharma, practicing Chan Buddhism, and protecting the spiritual environment. As a celebration, this volume commemorates the inauguration of the Dharma Drum Mountain complex in October 2005.
